Day 9 June 8 Avenue of the Giants

On highway 299 across northwest California.

The beginning of the Avenue of the Giants...

This is also home of the bigfoot...it really was surreal riding through these trees

I tried to get a shot to show how tall these are

Now this is a tree!

these ferns are every where! and they were huge!

Today we came across highway 299 to get to the Pacific coast and the giant redwoods. It was another beautiful day, but the high temperature was only 54 degrees...thankful for the heated vests!
